Ok, I’ve got the king of all AR15’s, a 50 Boewulf. I also have a 6.8spc. There have been times I’ve thought something in between would be good but haven’t gave it too much research. This morning something caught my eye as I was looking at the website for Saturn Barrels. What they call 375 Stalker.
it’s a 243, 308, 270, 30-06 case shortened and runs 8mm bullet. I’ll give it more research but initial load data looks good. 200-260 grain bullets putting out serious energy on target. Not quite like the 50, but more than a 6.8
Satern sells a nice stainless barrel with head spaced bolt that takes a .750 gas block, just like your belly button 223 AR15. Their quality is something I can vouch for. I used their barrel and bolt for my 50 build. It has 5/8x24 thread to match most brakes and flash hiders. They also sell Hornady dies, which is my favorite brand.
im sitting on a boat load of brass with split necks I am more than willing to cut down. I also have a few 80% lowers waiting to become a rifle. I am thinking I would cast and powder coat my own slugs, then throw them suckers at speed.
hmmmmm

You need to look at the new ATF laws regarding incomplete lowers and ser. numbers.
Get what you want built before all hell breaks loose on ARs.
