Went deer hunting Saturday for only the second time this year. Not much luck only saw one small doe and I let her walk. It was still a good day. It was nice to be in the woods again. I’ll probably go a couple more times. Down here the season doesn’t end until February 10th

I am going out tomorrow and saterday looking for a buck that I have seen hanging out. Our season (Rifle) ends sunday then black powder starts.
Yea that .50 does a heck of a job filling the freezer.

Sometimes just being out in the woods is just as good as shooting something. Being at peace with nature is the best.
