Took wife to get sighted in today. She is borrowing the AR47 I built and sold to a friend a couple years ago. That didn’t go so good. We will start at 25 yards Tuesday night and work our way out.
but I brought Ugly Betty, my 270 Savage along to check zero. Last I recall I had it set at 200 yards but the last time I shot it was 3 years ago.
the 5 gallon bucket was sitting on the ground 109 yards away with bottom facing me. Told wife to suprise me by saying “deer” and I would then shoulder rifle, find target and shoot. Just to see if it still fits me.
Summbich, it put a hole dead center 1.5” up from middle. Exactly where I had it zeroed years ago. This is one rifle that will never let me down. I’m thinking I should rename it to Sunrise, since it’s so predictable and reliable.
I keep thinking I should send it to Mike to be “Goofyified” but then it would be a trophy and not a hunter
